Hi All
I have two Mikrotik RB951G's that form a wireless bridge, then one RB750 connected to one of the RB951
So its RB951G >Wireless> RB951G >Ethernet> RB750
Both the middle RB951G and RB750 are setup to switch all ports (exception of port 1 on RB750 as it can't and is used to connect to the modem. The RB750 also does NAT and DHCP).
The NAS is connected to the middle RB951G the PC to RB750.
Everything works, I can access all devices and all devices can see Internet but when I try to copy from the NAS to the PC (NAS > RB951G > RB750 > PC) the speed is extremely bad in the region of 50KBps.
When I put a cheap Tenda switch in between the RB951G and the RB750, then the PC all of a sudden gets full speed 10MBps form the RB750
The link between the RB951G and RB750G without the switch I get a 100mbps full duplex link and I get close to 100mbps on the mikrotik bandwidth test.
The Wireless bridge between the two RB951G's can stream perfect 1080p from the NAS (I have a bridge between port 1 of the RB951G's which all lan ports are switched and their wlan interface).
Does anybody perhaps have an idea why the throughput is so bad without the Tenda switch inbetween the RB951G and RB750 ?
Thanks.
