Small Vegetable Farm - need advice

I'm looking at starting a small-scale vegetable farm. We have about 4.5 hectares of land I can utilise, although I won't utilise the full area within the first season. I've grown vegetables before, but for home use only, any excess we couldn't consume were passed on to family and friends. I was thinking of erecting a greenhouse, or perhaps making covered structures with greenhouse film to grow lettuce under, so the birds don't spoil the crop. We have a borehole, so water supply is not a problem. I will get proper irrigation supplies and install this. I was thinking of starting off with 500 square meters, and then going bigger from there. I've seen many cool ideas on Pinterest, especially for greenhouses, but if there are any farmers who can pass on some advice, that will be greatly appreciated. At this stage, I don't even know which questions to ask! :wtf:
