R20.00pm more - but seems identical?

I'm not sure I like the new Vodacom site - quite difficult to find the information :/

Smart S open contract with X,Y,Z minutes/sms/data bundles and the rest charged to your account while the uChoose Smart S is closed/limited to your R200 airtime that you then need to top up? Edit: Although that is the flexi contracts.

uChoose Smart S actually has data, airtime and minutes though - identical to Smart S - but could be the fact you can't ad maybe? Then why R20.00 more ?

I think its R20 more because it is a top up contract. Cellc and MTN is doing the same thing.

So with the one they have a bigger chance of making more money out of you so the lower price on that is acting like an incentive of sorts?

I don't know I guess so. When you look at ALL the deals with all the networks. They offer all these good deals with extra data and minutes and sms but all on openline. As soon a you choose the top up deal with the same device you lose all that "freebies" and get stuck with a basic topup plan AND you pay extra a month to have it.

So you pay more for less.

I'd say you're paying more for peace of mind.
