Don't get the Vodacom vf685. It has no gps, and you will be amazed at how many apps won't load because of this. Also, the resolution is rather poor - for old eyes, you will be amazed at how important this is.

The Wileyfox Swift is just up your alley. Check it out at Orange store Here and only R2, 433!

Any smart phone will do. Get someone to help you customise it using a good launcher (like Go Launcher) to have it look just the way you want it. They can hide all the clutter (things you don't need or don't want to fiddle with), make shortcuts on the screen, increase the font, etc. It would task them, literally, 20 minutes to have it looking just like you want.

Pity you didn't state your budget - some suggestions in the R2k - R3k+ range, so in case you're looking for something cheaper :

Can get them from MTN, Jet & other similar retailers for R899 now. Why not get one to try, and if acceptable, then get the 2nd required? If you haven't bought anything, already.

The cameras on all low to mid-range Android phones are moderate, at best, from what I've read & heard in reviews over the years .. and experienced, from 3 that I've owned myself.
