36 months. But Telkom have had very decent deals for a few years now. I use a contract when the cost + period equates to less than the phone.

Not really, wife has the u50 and is perfectly fine for her though the phone can be finicky on updates but it's stock android.

Isn't data the most important thing to look for on a contract. Looking at these deals a prepaid dual SIM phone would be best.

Rather buy a phone for R3 k and manage data myself, no contracts for me, all contracts, even when run out are difficult to cancel. I don't need a phone which can make coffee, I only need whatapp, telegram, signal, camera, email and sometimes voice is fine!
