sms viewing

I got stock and go sms pro on the phone. So I get a notification of a sms, normally go sms pro. Then later when I want to view it, I found the sms in the stock sms proggie. I first went to go sms pro. I would like the sms to move to go sms pro. What do you say.

Have you played around in the settings of both programs?

In the stock program there should be a feature to not notify you and also to not retrieve a SMS. Look into Go SMS settings and make sure it retrieves and notifies and you should be set.

What ROM are you using? If it is a CM rom then you need to enable a CM setting "Lock messaging app in memory" otherwise Go SMS will "lose" the SMS.

From what i remember is stock will always receive it, you just need to disable notifications and set go to the default client.
What i always did was just froze the stock app using titanium backup so that it cant do anything.

The option is "Auto-retrieve" in stock, you can disable this. I think all messaging apps share the same folders, that is why it seems like stock "received" the message (open stock and the SMS will be there as well).

I could be wrong on the folder sharing?

Thankz, i chznge some settings. I just use froyo 2.2 . Hope their iz a default zomeshere.
