2 weeks ago we had a hectic lightening storm at our offices, we have 4 Macbook Pros and the rest are all normal laptops.

All 4 Macbooks were hit by lightening and the same thing happened to them... Their logic boards got hit.

Im really surprised the other laptops did not get touched...

Anyway.... 2 weeks later still no Macbooks, took them to Digicape but im not convinced on their technical department, have not heard anything from them..

Anyway, i have learned the hard way....

How did the lightning get them? Ethernet? Or did they blow the power bricks as well?

Through the power bricks and ethernet, and the 4 ports of the Macs on my switch were the only ports that got blown...

The Macs are obviously very sensitive to lightening... ha ha, just don't get why the crap windows laptops survived!!

Wow - I have heard of Ethernet blows but not through bricks. And to explain the survival of the craptops, cockroaches can survive even nuclear war...

I've had bricks get damaged but never a laptop . . . any laptop for that matter, pc or mac.

Exactly..... its a pretty painful experience, and Digicape is not helping the situation....

Apart from having some fried laptops you haven't said what the situation is. Are you waiting on a quote to give the insurance co? Having them repaired?

Maybe your macs are just a bit too sensitive, they were made for sensitive people after all.
