my Polo is getting sold, and thinking of something different ... specifically; the new Alfa Romeo Mito ... im sold on looks but I do have a few questions

1. Never owned an Alfa before, anyone had 1st hand experience with a Mito
2. What colour would one get? torn between a white and that 8C red

Dude...take it don't ask questions, put the 18's on, only 5k extra!

keep it in Dynamic mode as the boost bar will be in your display ALL DAY LONG...then take it to Frieling to see what they can do with it, downpipe, FMIC, water/meth,intake and full exhaust and GIAC...there you go, at least 170kw imo.

But go to a website called alfaowner.com and click on the search button above and type in MiTo...thousands of pages on the MiTo will pop up...enjoy becoming part of the Alfisti!!!

Don't buy an Alfa.

They depreciate like used underwear and the dealership service is shockingly bad.

Why not wait for the new Polo coming out soon?

LOL - didn't you hear the guy want's something new? The NEW polo, are you serious...how bout the facelift polo, that's more like it!

get the MiTo...

depreciation is quicker than an M3 - but the Alfa's with service plans - you can't go wrong. Why would you take advice from someone who don't own Alfa's, practically speaking out of their ass from what they've heard LOL.

Lemme tell you the truth, a guy who's had more than 5, going on my 3rd currently in my garage soon...

buy it, NOT NEW, if you don't have a choice get it new but make a deal to trade it later on.

Get on the Forum so that when your car's out of service plan you can know where to go so that people won't 1) rip you off and 2) break your car, coz there's tons of Alfa mechanics who'll do this!

Get involved in the club if you want...really cool - Don't worry, the new Alfa's 05 and up have chains instead of belts, the thing that broke the most on pre 05's were the belt snaps messing up the whole engine...this is a WORLD WIDE Alfa fault!

Other than that, its your money, rather go for what you want, do you homework too...but with the MiTo you can't go wrong, once you go Alfa, you never go back, so say bey bey to that tin of a Polow...don't even look at the "new" one, only has new lights lol!

+ the MiTo skeer tdi Frieling and GTI Polo standard all day..TESTED! Go on forum to check it out!!!

I pitty the fool who finks he knows of Alfa and never had one!

Or just get G5 GTI on BBS Ch LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE lol *shakes head*

ok, my rant is over!

And you know this how? (the shocking service)

Yeah VW is much better NOT. At least when I take my Alfa in for a service I get a treated like a person and not a number and it doesnt take 3 weeks to get a booking and 3 days to get my car serviced.

It's down to economy of scale. There are more VW passenger cars on the roads than any other. Even if only a small PERCENTAGE complain, the sheer numbers are still vast.

You buy an Alfa with your heart, not your head. Resale is poor, service levels are questionable and quality is debatable, but none of that will stand in the way of wanting an Alfa. And the MiTo is a brilliant little car, except if a certain Mr Martinengo happens to be behind the wheel. :p

A Porsche is NOT a VW. Please please please stop saying that.

Adam, you're the ideal candidate for an Alfa - the knock in resale aint gonna hurt your pocket methinks. 'sides it looks like a great little car.

Eish, Mr Marteningo had to keep his 3.2...joh, but dude, get the MiTo, or at least go test drive one...lol like Jeremy said, stay far away from an Alfa dealership...coz he guarantee's you'll walk out there 99% convinced you need one!!!

:D - sooooooooooooooo pretty. See, nothing else matters in the Brera's case - not even that it handles like a piano.

I actually didn't take into account who posted the OP. Adam, just get the Alfa... do iiiiiiiit! I'm partial to the white, personally. Very sexy.

this is the part where all the alfa fans come out to tell you what they want, even if the resale value sucks, etc

It's actually within the context of answering the OP's question. Besides, I only see one Alfa-fanatic hopping up and down. :p
