Just a question for more experienced users, I've installed WINE and tried to execute/install Winamp but I recieved some error on execution bit not available, I went to the file's properties and tried to enable "executable" but it kept on disabling itself. Basically all .exe's give this error, how can I fix this?

Thanks, I'll keep my Ubuntu installation clean from Windows apps for now.. Dual booting between Ubuntu and Win7 is working fine atm.

I've got the same problem. Even tried to execute them in root mode.
Tried it with a handful of .exe's and all of them gave the above error. Any solutions?

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my desktop now.

Wow! It is fantastic.

Dunno how much different it is from 10.04, but it feels a bit more polished and I'm loving the new font!
