If Nicci starts smoking again, be supportive, it must be one of the hardest thing to do cold turkey.

Good luck Nicci, and hope you still going strong but if not, it's not the end of the world.

2 weeks and 2-6 months are the tough ones.
Your brain starts playing games with you and tells you its fine to have that smoke and that you have beaten it already.
The worst is yet to come so bear in mind its going to be tough.

As someone that tried 10 times to stop before it worked ... There is a certain amount of shame in admitting when it failed.

Hello Everyone!

Oh dear god!!! I have been smoke free for exactly 3 weeks now!! I have not had a smoke, and being back at work is easier than I thought!! I still walk outside up and down the stairs to get exercise, but I do not give in to smoke!

Now, I need to ask advise / help!! I am busy dying of pain here! My gums / teeth are SO sore!! I cant even eat a lamb chop or anything hard, it has been like this for about a week or so now :( It really is super sore. Is this because of my stop smoking or what can it be? My gums are also bleeding when I brush my teeth (which is a painful exercise).
