Oh crap, so he knows I just searched how to hack open WiFi? Hahahaha! Yeah, if he is not tech savvy enough to secure his connections, recon I don't have much to worry about

It's not your connection. You know that, and you know you don't have her/his permission.
Just because it's not secured by pw does not give you the right to use it.
Neither does not being best of friends.
Rather, resist the urge to take advantage of someone else's ignorance.
Even better, why not approach your neighbour and offer to help her/him secure it.
That way you can actually help to make our world a better place, rather than being part of the problem.

But what if he is very tech savvy and is doing it o purpose waiting for you and other neighbours to cash in on that free honey pot wifi?
These days your need to be quite savvy to open it up to no security as the default is to have a pre-shared key with WPA out of the factory.

I also have a guest connection open. The neighbor was watching youporn while in the bathroom.
"was" until I changed one ssid to "No174watchesYouporn". I now get the guest stare.
Someone also complained that the owner of the Wi-Fi called (.)(.)bOObies should be respectful.
