Hi guys
So I submitted a fault with Telkom on 1 March 2017, since 6 March 2017 the system was updated and everyone knew the line issue lies with the cables department and they needed to install new cables. The completion date for this was 23 March 2017, needless to say today the problem has not been resolved, the new cables has not been installed and since Monday 24 April 2017 my 8mb line has only been giving me about 2.8mb speed and latency is usually over 1000ms.
Oh and don't forget that my Landline is also completely dead since 24 April and no one has come out to my house to see what the problem with that is.
I've called the 10210 line numberous times and lost my cool, I've spoken to supervisers, they have tried phoning the technician who is supposed to work on my issue but he is never available, his sup is never available, the regional manager don't reply to emails the supervisers send them and I honestly don't know what to do anymore.
My are only has up to 10mb ADSl available but of course I don't even get the full 10mb cause I am too far from the exchange.
After phoning WebAfrica I found out that I am just over 200m out of the fibre range and would like to get fibre in my area so that I can be rid of Telkom once and for all but who knows how long that is going to take.
My internet is almost unusable at this stage. A simple download of a file of 5mb takes ages so yeah.
Any advice short of killing myself slowly with a blunt toothpick would be much appreciated cause I don't know how to get people who simply doesn't give a damn to do something without me getting a heart attack myself.
Cheers
