So what is the story about a hectic solar flare we are experiencing according to 702?

Hi guys. So this morning on my way to work I hear on 702 we must be carefull when outside in the sun. We apparently in the middle of a bad solar flare and 5 minutes in the sun now can equal 5 hours of taning in normal space weather. Do you guys know anything about this? I cant google cause its blocked at work.

Oh sorry....perhaps it is the same one. Please dont flame me....we already having this solar flare...that should be punishment enough

We had an X-class flare a few weeks ago IIRC and seems to be the one you are referring to. There was an M-class flare (the red spike) a few hours ago.
