So where can I get an account?

I'm not currently capped, but I'm guessing I'll be in the next day or 2, is there anywhere I can sign up for an account at a reasonable price(I'm a student ) for just the remainder of the month? or do I really have to pay telkom or my isp for an additional 3gb?

hey, rather sign up for prolog plus which has a 4GB cap and use a proxy somewhere, most of them charge.... we might be offering a solution that uses a pool of accounts and so your account changes every night.... I will let every you guys/girl know

telkom or ISP i'm afraid. Try Dean Henstock of ODS, price should be around R250-R300. Pity you can't buy a 1 gig package to to make it thru to the end of the month!!! Else have not tried it but decap or ODS might sell you a proxy to use but don't know if it will be more cost efective?

Maybe phone Imaginet quickly (www.imaginet.co.za) - I'm not sure waht their policy is on additional accounts for non-subscribers though. Only one way to find out...

problem with ODS is that their maximum speed is 150k, best to avoid international for teh rest of the month or just buy another account. I have been try to find a local proxy to use which free and guess what... no luck... I can't even connect to cache.saix.net

did you know that on adsl, telscum cache every and so most of the time if you download international it come from their SA proxy BUT!!! they still allocate it as international to your cap...... dammm them
