Car came yesterday. Ended up going with Audi as the BMW salesmen didn't want to budge with price.
It's the 1.4 and she added xenons with daylight running lights, park assist, some ridiculous Bang and Olufson 13 speaker sound system, leather seats (with red stitching haha), chrome insets and I dunno what else.

She's happy, I drove it around the block and it's perfect for a woman. Incredibly comfortable. All the luxuries and enough voom.

I've got to add, Niel at Audi Hatfield went out of his way to get her exactly what she wanted. I read good things about the Hatfield franchise on myBB, and I hope this is a more pleasant experience than VW Centurion. If you are in the market for a VW or Audi, I would highly suggest to give them a try.

Oft topic but I see the 2 soft top is priced a great deal higher than the A3 soft top.

I'm with Mutual & Federal now for past 10 years I think, no one can beat my premium and their payouts usually happen quick without a hitch and can recommend..

About 40K more and they wont negotiate on price whatsoever. At least not BMW Centurion. By the time you add a few things you are looking at R600K.

They are extremely similar. The A3's interior felt slightly more premium. The BMW looks a bit better from the outside. Wife was happy with either so made the call to save some bucks.
