Up until recently I used to borrow drives from friends and copy media all the time, always trying to keep up with the latest episodes.

The cons of this:-
1) Time - always having to find the time to go onto tracking sites to find the files and then downloading the files.
2) Storage - As most of you know video files are usually quite big and can fill up your hard drive very quickly
3) Throttling - Most ISPs throttle torrent downoads

----> In steps Put.io

Find the video you want and pop the magnet into your storage and put.io will grab the file. If they already have it indexed it'll almost be instantaneous. If not, their download speeds are pretty insane so it usually takes a couple minutes

Once Put.io has fetched your file you can watch it online, no need to download it first. And when you are finished you can delete your file and grab another. No storage is used, only bandwidth. I have a 10GB storage space with unlimited bandwidth for $10/month. You can delete and copy as much stuff as you want, as long as there is space you can fetch files onto your storage.

Or spend $8 on Netflix and avoid all that :p

But nice guide nonetheless for those old fashioned people.
