If you’re a wordsmith that thinks in tweets, and enjoys getting creative in the social media space then we have an amazing opportunity for you!
We are on the lookout for an experienced social media manager who has the ability to think strategically and be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced and exciting environment. You will be responsible for a number of social communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and will be expected to monitor online conversations, pull reports and create engaging content on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:
Implement the social media strategies
Daily management, content generation and updating of all communities.
Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the different teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media, using relevant ORM tools to report and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Monitoring all competitor activity.
Managing social media networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube
Keep tabs on all current trends and maintain online relationships with other brands and bloggers.
Requirements
Excellent communication and writing skills.
At least two to three years experience in social media.
Intricate knowledge of social media platforms.
Must be able to work with social management suites.
Actively participate in various social media activities.
Proficiency and experience in ORM and monitoring tools.
High attention to detail.
Advantageous
Proficiency in various CMS platforms: WordPress, Blogspot, etc
Design skills.
A love for identifying opportunities for brands and clients.
Existing relationships with media and online influencers.
