Location: Travelstart Head Office based in Cape Town.
Travelstart, a leading global online travel agency, is looking for eager talent to join our evolving social media team. At Travelstart we value energy, creativity, team players, and a great attitude.
As our Social Media Strategist you will work across various social media platforms. These include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn but are not limited to only these.
The key deliverables in this role will be to:
• Drive social media campaigns and overall strategy across ZA and global platfroms;
• Conceptualization and execution of creative cross channel social campaigns;
• Day-to-day management of social platforms;
• Work with team to convert social media followers into customers; and
• Track and report on social media initiatives.
Listed below are the minimum requirements with regards to skills, competencies and abilities needed for this role:
• Understand all social media channels;
• Experience in significantly growing social platforms across multiple channels;
• Experience in driving strategy and execution to increase engagement;
• Experience in at least 1 developing country;
• Experience with setting up/ finding/ tweaking and implementing social media tools/ widgets and gadgets;
• Experience with managing social media campaign budgets;
• Experience using power editor; and
• Understand how social media fits into global marketing strategy.
