Very nice. But 5.5kw. Eish!We do have instant geysers in SA. Some offices usually use it for boiling water.
Unless its something else you referring to?

I have one in the old servants quarters that I'll probably sell off soonI've never liked solar geysers anyways.
When I was in the Philippines, there was this little water heater device installed next to the shower (they don't use geysers or hot water in general). I haven't seen something like it in South Africa. Water goes in, heats instantly, and goes out to the shower head warm enough for a foreigner to enjoy the hot water.
I want something like that.
It's less electricity eventually, because u dont heat 100/150 liters at once. U just heat what u need...Yeah, similar. Was hoping they would use less kW.
done.Sorry old post , but i saw Filipino and also Water Heater and i need help.
Prices of those have come down a lot.
I have a problem calling from abroad, i asked my mom to contact an installer in cape town and they came with a 9950 quotation to install the water heater, thats just ****ing retarded.
Can somebody help me here maybe please
I need help to have the water heater installed - connected to the existing water pipe and then either just plug it in to a plug point (as they said in the e-mail also, or have it connected to one of the circuits of the house)
Yeah, but you need a beefy inverter to power it.
Note that the con of flat plates is that they can burst in freezing temps. A Geyserwise pumps warm water through on cold nights to prevent this.
I only want to use the water heater when taking a shower and thats really it.Only directly coupled systems have that issue. I have an indirect system which uses glycol in the flat plate collectors which does not freeze.
That will provide a trickle of water. Stayed with my folks in the Netherlands and some flats there don't have geysers, they have instant water heaters for the shower. Their system was 33KW and while you could shower the water pressure was not great.Very nice. But 5.5kw. Eish!
