Bringing legal action, justifiably, against Eskom while...

...oh the other hand working with Gordhan to fix it.

Eskom: Please don't use our product we don't have enough for everyone. We have to take turns using the product.
Eskom: Please use energy efficient products to lower usage, switch off devices when not in use.
Eskom: We will charge you a tariff for not using our product enough. Less usage more tariff.
Good reply, just what I was thinking. Bunch of fscking clowns.

You’re missing the point. There is no logic, no thought given and definitely no intelligence. It’s based solely on the usual “how can we make money now today so we can steal it regardless of tomorrow.”
Maybe read more carefully. We already know that. This is in addition

Organization like Solidarity need to be supported.

They are doing amazing work and the average south africa needs to get behind organisation's which make our lives bearable under a communist government.

The Constitutional Court will throw out this nonsense in a second.

Eskom if you can't supply a service either allow us to make an alternative or be sued for not providing the service.

I am not so sure, the ANC took the DA to court about the new water levy. DA lost the case but then shuffled some wording and now the Cape has a new permanent water connection levy. ANC will use the same mech to push it through, socialism is supported by law.

He's really saying the same thing in a different way. The lowest users will be hit with the biggest increase. It does mean someone who currently uses almost no electricity will in future be expected to pay a substantial amount.

I won't be the first to say that Eskom and perhaps all of the "management" of our country have lost touch with reality. They live in the own perfect world because these obstacles do not affect them. I'm part of a family of 4 in a fairly decent "middle class" suburb of Cape Town living in a moderate freestanding house using less than 400kWh per month. I don't have solar or inverters or batteries or wind power or a generator. Electrical use - and water - has been rationed for years simply because of the cost. So now I'm going to be penalised for not using more of a product which cannot be supplied even though I really cannot even afford it? Take a clown, put him in a palace...he doesn't become king, the palace becomes a circus!

The lowest users are probably indigents and they are exempted from any water or electricity connection fees. Thieves are also exempted. The DA is also planning to give the indigents and thieves free solar systems in the Cape.
