What do I need to know to get this job?
Education/Experience:
• University Degree
• Business Analysis courses (beneficial)
• National Diploma/Certificate in Project Management or equivalent qualification (beneficial)
• IT project management experience: 3-4 years displaying excellent communication, team work, multi-tasking, successful usage of project management tool(s)
• Ability to work within a geographically dispersed team
Skills:

• The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently and effectively

What will I do every day?
Development projects are assigned to project teams. Each project team consists of a solutions architect, a mentor and one or more web developers. The solutions architect liaises with the client and contributes the conceptual design for the product.The team’s developers participate in the design of concrete enterprise and mobile applications and are then responsible to develop these applications using this company’s development platform.
The Solutions Architect is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Solutions Architect works as a team member along with the Scrum Master, Solutions Developer, Infrastructure Manager and the Support Staff to deliver the complete solution for the client.
• Serves as a member within one or more agile application development teams
• Responsible for working with stakeholders to manage and prioritize product backlog based on user value, time dependencies, risk mitigation and effort
• Organizes and leads effective meetings with project stakeholders to extract requirements into business epics, features and user stories, including supporting test acceptance criteria identification
• Participates in sprint demonstrations and approves delivery team commitments
• Provides input to, and feedback on, the processes of software system testing and validation, programming and documentation
• Understands and helps manage the agile product life cycle throughout each release
• Advice on the management of projects
• Be willing to travel locally and abroad, for work purposes
