Since we all, well most of us, experienced a terrible month start i thought i might add in my positive input about iBurst so far this month. Could't be happier - downloads don't drop below 80kbps, very little disconnections.. Overall and surprisingly i am happy... 500megs to go - lets see from there.

I must say I also had some positive experience from Iburst.
I've reported a speed problem and seeing that the helpdesk could not help me, I request to speak to the Lady in charge. After speaking to her and explained my problem with the helpdesk and my technical problem, she promise me to sort out my problem. an hour later I received a call from the 2nd level support and with the help from them, I received a External antenna and my problem was solved. Even received a 2nd call the next day to confirm that all is still right and also received some info of filler towers that will be ready in the next week or two in the problem areas in Northcliff, Randburg and Sandton.

That is the sort of service that Grandma Like to receive.

Thanks to the Technicians at Iburst for sorting out my problem, and the freindly way and speed and knowledge that you have done it.

limnos, I am going to assume that you meant to say 80kBytes/s, as in 80kBps, bcos if you are getting 80kbits/s and you have 500MB of bandwidth before reaching your cap...then it's a totally different matter altogether :).

bwhahahaa .... filler towers in 2 weeks ... OMG ... I'd better get the snow ski's ready....

Gear only just shipped from Kyocera ... still needs to be installed etc ...

The only recent new tower was Linden .. made little impact to those north of Northcliff...

RandparkRidge is supposed to get done sometime in the next month or so ...

What other towers were you told of ?
