Hey guys, anyone got a spare / old Cisco router I could borrow? Writing CCNA in a month, packet tracer is fine, but I would really like to interface with the real deal. End of the month ill buy you a case of beer.

Sandton area.

Sorry dude, but I have to correct your grammar, You borrow from people, and lend to. So your Title should read "Someone lend me a cisco..." or "May I borrow a Cisco...." ;)

Jeesh... thanx mom for drumming that cr@p into my head

Any router in specific? I may be able to get you one - although it may be old and the options above better suited to writing an exam....

dynamips/gns3 will work great for ccna, remember to use vlan database for VLANS

R1#vlan database
R1(vlan)#vlan 10
R1(vlan)#exit

Good luck with the sudies

Conradl: Do you have any routers you would want to sell? starting up with a home lab :)

Hey guys, quick question to anyone who did the CCNA or ICND2 exam, I see that the Sybex and Nuggets place a lot of focus, with regards to VLSM's, on class C, as well as classful subnetting etc.

Does the CCNA exam focus on class C more? Im asking this because im getting a bit worried about the host sizes in B and A, its gonna be a mission to calculate those!

Thanks in advance.
