One Black Friday shopper made a R818,000 purchase

Ozow's Black Friday dashboard has revealed that one shopper spent R818,000 in a single transaction on the day.

The dashboard is designed to provide insight into customer spending during the sales event, and it resets daily at one minute past midnight.
 
I just looked at Flight centre all the Black Friday specials they have are for 2 people now. They no longer have for just 1 person
 
In total I spend R450 on Black Friday, nothing more. Actually spent in on Thursday.

Checkers. Cookies, Yoghurt, Washing Powder, and Cereal.

Food Lovers is like Black Friday everyday, Spar I wanted to get sugar from but sold out.

Canal Walk was pretty empty, especially the Supermarkets today from what I saw. Almost no one was walking around with big trolleys.

Why do we have to do this crap every year? Who gives a ****?
 
I bought a pair of shoes from Cape Union Mart, they tried to tell me they weren't on special so I called the manger and all they had to do was scan them to find out they were on special 30 percent off actually

Not sure what you’re on about.

I’m asking why we have to give a **** who spent what on some mediocre special American retail day that has lost its meaning. But you do you.
