I'm interested in taking up the sport. before I go through all the hassle of getting a licence and buying a firearm, I would like to have a go at a range.
I need someone who is willing to take me, I will pay for ammo used and any other applicable fees.
This would be for a hand gun. (not revolver)
A polymer pistol has its own characteristics. One being prone to misfires if fired from certain positions. Sure, they are lighter, but a heavier pistol prevents some of the muzzle flip.Nothing wrong with polymer. My frame is polymer and shows no sign of abuse
I've been carrying my glock all day and it didn't decide to go off in my pants. Did I buy a dud? ;-)Careful that Glock might go off in your pants and leave you screaming like a girl.

Please explain why it would misfire
So I went to a gun range yesterday and one of the 'managers' helped me quite a bit and let me fire a few shots with his CZ SP-01 Shadow! very awesome gun.
I was pretty impressed with my grouping, and overall it was pretty enjoyable! Its definitely something I could continue with.
Now just to get licenced and choose a firearm!
Whats your budget just for a FA?
