some personal history here for public consumption.
this track is the 1st song i can recall hearing on my 1st nite in a gay club.
the song: Forrest - Feel The Need In Me (Extended Version).
the club: Zodiac (durban)
i was in standard 9 at the time
my best friend from school had been twice before, the owner Ronnie, lived nearby and we knew him.
the place was denied a liquor licence by the police, and interestingly because of that, the laws related to minimum age could not be enforced.
life as i knew it, changed that night !!
for those that may be curious, here is a bit of a "mix tape" from the club:
