How is this tv? Good, bad, nice, not nice, problematic or not?

Pls let me have your comments - we are looking for a bigger tv and saw this one on special for this price...thats the reason for me asking

It's a great TV i have even played some PC games on it with no problem.

I can also give my vote of confidence for this tv. for R5999, this is a good deal according to me. I bought mine in Nov 2007 for R5999 from Makro and still ZERO issues with it. Works very well as a spare PC monitor through the VGA port @ 1280x768, very sharp image.

The one I bought is still the one with 1HDMI port though. I think the ones currently selling are the ones with 2 ports (?).

Technically HD is supposed to be better, but sit in your living room and watch both, and if you notice the difference your sitting too close to the TV
