Sony, Lenovo in talks on possible PC business alliance: report

Japan’s Sony Corp and Chinese technology company Lenovo Group are in talks about a possible joint venture to take over Sony’s loss-making Vaio PC business overseas, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported on Saturda

Interesting. Will it mean there will be two Vaio lines? Domestic line and Lenovo assembled foreign line? Lenovo also took over NEC's computer business. NEC's domestic machines are also now made in China. Vaio will probably do the same, not that Vaio was representative of quality in the first place.

Looks like Lenovo might turn a true global super power first Motorola and now Sony's PC arm if they wait a bit they might be able to even purchase Sony's Bravia Division
