Hi Guys

I currently own a PS 3 500GB and longing for an upgrade
Would the PS Slimline be a good buy now or should I wait and save for the Pro?

There is no better time to buy a pro than now. It is on a massive special at BT games which includes 3 games and an extra controller for R7K. Based on what the rand is doing I don't see you being able to buy it at that price again anytime soon.

difference between pro and slim?
 
I tried to get that BT special and they didn't have stock in any of the stores nearby, and they can't say when they would get any.

I ended up getting the standalone console. Now to find a 4K HDR TV with more than one HDMI 2.0a port, so that I can get the Scorpio later this year as well. This is turning into a costly exercise :(

Why don't you just wait for the Scorpio?
 
The pro is def out of my budget. Bought the Slim with 2 controllers and a game (Destiny) for R 4499 from Makro.
