Only the B&W of the Natural History Museum looks HDRed to hell. Some of the others used a little HDR and DRI to get increased dynamic range, but nothing looks OTT.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw it. Beautiful shot.

Reminded me of that scene in The 13th Warrior where the guys were riding with the burning torches at night.

There's also a pro competition on there somewhere. I know that the pros are mostly photojournalists, hence it'd be part of the job, but it's interesting to see the tone of the amateurs vs the tone of the professional pics.
