Don't be fooled by the waterproof, shockproof advertising angle by Sony. My Xperia Z3 which I bought for an outdoor lifestyle stopped working after going fly fishing and immersed for a few seconds in water.
MTN would not uphold the warranty, even though basically new as they said it was slightly bent - even if not visible and as such the covers wouldn't work properly.
The phone had never been sat on or dropped and had the best/toughest cover I could find for it.
Now sent to Sony ...but will probably not uphold their warranty as well as they sent me an email detailing every possible reason why they wouldn't and would probably be BER...Beyond Economic Repair...in other words a R10 000 cel phone still under contract that I can throw away because it didn't do what it was supposed to...
By saving a few bucks and misrepresenting their product they will lose a customer for life ...and for all of their products!
