One of the big question marks is whether the Xperia Z5 Premium will come with the rumored 4K screen resolution that the early rumors suggest it will. That works out to a pixel density above 800ppi.

Been reading a lot about the 4K rumours on the Z5.

I was wondering why there was no thread on them yet ; should be epic phones!

I love my Z2 and the only issues are 1) Fragile and 2) Flap on side wouldn't stay in. Regarding 1), Sony gave me a brand new phone after a drop from 44cm smashed the screen and they said it was simply unlucky. Otherwise, awesome phone.

Hoping the camera lives up though ; the 21MP 1/2.3" sensor wasn't that fantastic (let down by the lens perhaps)

I dropped the phone from the side of the bath (44cm / knee height) onto the face and it shattered a few weeks after I got it. Yes - I measured and I couldn't believe it!

I was pissed off as I chose it over the Samsung S5 at the time, with the main thing swaying me being the perceived strength and fact I wouldn't have needed the free screen replacements that Samsung gave me. When I got the quote for the screen (R4,500 or so) I was even more pissed off and wrote in to tell them how unhappy I was.

They understood ... then gave me a brand new phone. The back of that phone cracked a few weeks after I got it (spontaneous cracking issue), but that didn't bother me.

Anyway, I've always been very scared of even putting the phone down too hard on a table since. I'm not sure it was a flaw or once off, but I'm not testing it

Price should be equally epic :/
Which is why I didn't wait (and only improvement I'd want would be Snapdragon 808 or 820 and 32GB internal storage VS the current Z3 and the Z3+/Z4)

This isn't Sony's first 810 device. I'm sure they've learned from the Z3+.

I was also thinking that though. The Z5 and Z5 Compact may have been better off with 808.

Unfortunately though some people care more about specs that usability.

Thing is, Samsung with their aggressive RAM Management ruin any gain the Exynos has.

Trust me, I want to like the S6 Edge+ and Note5, as their HW is the best, but what they have done WRT software makes me cringe.
