The reviews coming in suggest that this might be the best Android phone with a display smaller than 5'', very impressive phone.

To quote Stuff Magazine, and I know this will make a lot of people happy (including myself) :

In a world littered with smartphones that require a juggling act to reach the top notification bar (we’re looking at you, iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note 4), the Z3 Compact gets a 15/10 for ease of use.

Yes, you might get screen envy when comparing it to the likes of the 5.5in LG G3 when viewing movies side-by-side, but use the Compact on its own and you'll feel so darn comfortable using it that nothing else will matter.

PS : And yes, it does support the Telkom Mobile 2300 LTE band. :)

I agree that the 6+ is too big. The normal Z3 is only 5.2" though.

I guess I need to try them both in real life.

The Z3 Compact also has better battery life.

I also have my eye on the Z3 Compact.

There are so many great phones on the market today & it's really difficult to choose.

Note 4, Nexus 6, G3, One Plus One, etc. but I reckon it's time to go back to a phone that I can operate with one thumb, like my S2. I am very interested in the hi quality sound that comes with the Sony phones, my S5's sound is a bit dull to me.

Friend of mine has a Note 2 and he is just waiting for Telkom Mobile to stock it. Still loves his Note 2, but he also wants a smaller phone.

If I go that way I will definitely not get rid of my Note3.

Two phones made my life hell, as I could not decide which one to use as my everyday phone.

So I sold the one and the problem was solved.

Pity about the return.jpg being on the wrong side, having to stretch my thumb to hit that button (which I do a lot) doesn't seem as fun as stomping on it firmly from above if its on the left hand side.

They are indeed good, but nothing compared to the htc One M8. htc<<Sony<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Every other smartphone.

Of course, certain fanbois will tell you that the crappy Samsung S5 or Note 4 speakers are not even needed, but that's another story.

The screen of the Z3 is not full HD.
Now i Know Full HD is not everything, it would have been nice to have it.

The 720p display is more than good enough, I was happy with my S2's display resolution of 480 x 800 for more than three years.

?

Z3 is 1080p. The Z3 Compact is 720p. Both great for their screen sizes.

Sony opted for better battery life instead of higher quality screen, I can't argue with that logic.

Yeah I have to say it makes complete sense.
I myself am hoping to buy z2 this week.
That screen with its battery life is the sweet spot for me.
