If you're on an MTN contract then you should be able to use the AfriHost APN for data.. Confirm with an AfriRep ?

MTN's double data promo now offers same price data though. Buy 2GBs, get 2GBs free.

I had to ask someone in store. It's on their pricelist, not in the brochure.

Anytime 200 is the same price as MyChoice 100.

And MyChoice 100 can be restricted do you can't go over your accumulated airtime at no extra cost. Where with a Anytime Topup you pay for that feature.

Yeah, but if you want to spend all of it on calls you can, with MyChoice it's all segmented. If you never call minutes will accumulate, while on TopUp, or AnyTime you can use the airtime as you want.

Ok. Now I'm impressed. I played around with ultra stamina mode. It basically turns the phone into a touchscreen feature phone. All the basic functionality is there, with a improved signall reception, and 20 days standby time.

Can somebody clarify whether the prices for devices on Orange store include duties & VAT?

My choice gives you a fixed amount of data, calls and sms.

Anytime gives you an airtime value and you can spend it as you see fit.

The pamphlet makes it sound like you can customise the amount of each, but that seems almost too good to be true and would be more expensive anyway.
The call (and I think data) rates on MyChoice are much lower than Anytime though, so that airtime value is pretty useless if you translate it to minutes and megs. And since it's an MTN contract, you're better off going with an Afrihost Mobile bundle anyway.

Z3c on order!!! YEOW :)

So anyone got any advice on wireless chargers?
Also cases? Looking for a nice slimfit case, don't want anything that flaps open and closed or is too bulky

Also screen protectors? Who's using them? Never used one on my S4, and it wasn't much problem, but I know Sony uses different screen tech

Wireless charger - doesnt exist, only one you can get at the moment is magnetic chargers.

Cases - i got cheapie gel cases from amazon uk (friend brought them in). there aren't many slim fit cases available in the country. If i had to go premium i would get this, looks really nice. http://www.roxfit.mobi/products/xperia-z3-compact-gel-shell-plus

You get 1 screen protector in the box, i use it.

New to this thread, possibly the next device i will go for.

Main concerns,
How is the Sony UI? Heard it can be a bit glitchy.
Also, hows the battery life, with average usage?

The Sony interface is pretty close to default Android with a few tweaks. Most consider it better than Touchwizz.

As for battery 2-3 days with normal use.

Wow, thats quite something especially since it only has a 2600mah battery.

Also, im a fan of the AMOLED screens, the colours really pop, how does the IPS LCD compare?

Remember it's only a 720p screen so no wasted pixels.

Just btw those "popping colours" have been toned done in the latest phones.

The screen used they say is one of the best Sony has ever made.
