Sony Z3 Compact - The best little Android in the universe

Swiftkey is fantastic!!! Been using it since my S2, it's so good at correcting typos you don't need to worry about hitting the wrong key now and then. Looking forward to one handed typing with the z3c, I could do it on my s4, but it was quite a mission

Anyone using swype? I've never taken the time to learn how to use it

You mean SwiftKey Flow?

Just turn it on in your SwiftKey settings > Input Methods, then you can "swype" in Afrikaans, English and a 3rd language.

My "swype" skills in Afrikaans is actually pretty awesome.

I was looking for a high-end phone in reasonably sized package since my iPhone 5 gave out of me... This fit the bill perfectly. Oh and it looks amazing in orange

I'm so glad there is a manufacturer out there that is willing to focus on performance in a smaller package and not just water down their premium devices.

I went out and got myself a Tech21 case - pretty sturdy from a Vodacom store. Paid R340 for the Z3 case - was shocked at pricing, last time I purchased a case of similar quality was in Thailand for R50...



Vodacom / MTN seem to have many Z3C cases.

Mines took a drop today as I got out of my car. Fortunately the screen is intact but its got a small chip on the side that's unprotected by the case
Going to buy that tempered glass screen protector tomorrow before this spreads or happens again.

No man. Now I'm paranoid. Will have to get a decent cover tomorrow.

Whatever you get, make sure it covers all the sides. I wanted one that leaves the magnetic charing port exposed but that is the side that ended up getting hit. This is with the case logic "tough" case that also cost around R350.

At least the screen didn't crack.

I got hold of a Case Mate today for R300. Not too bad for now.
