How do you guys feel about having to pay for screen repair when it cracks? Unlike samsungs getting 2 free repairs? Im sitting with a xperia z paperweight at the moment. Hence im looking to get the z3, but having to pocket 2.5k for a screen repair aint my style

It's called specified household insurance.

Yes, the two screen repairs are brilliant for Samsung phones, but will that help you if your phone got stolen?

I just added it to my house contents insurance for very cheap.

These phones are just too expensive to cover with a second mobile phone contract, like I used to do in the past.

The perfect phone for me and I bet anyone else who tries it, using the gf's s5 is like playing with a children's toy with that skin...

Anyone know where I can get the magnetic charging cable locally? Can only source internationally and paying through the nose for the delivery of just a cable is daft.

It seems that cable isn't an official Sony accessory. 3rd parties basically just used the cable from the charging dock. So you could always do that.

Any place to get a dock for the compact though? Buying a R500 peice of plastic(basically) then having to rig it for the compact or chuck it away to just use the cable will really irritate me.

For that to be the only solution(and it looks like it) is a bit ridiculous... No wonder Sony are in so much trouble, they should be shouting this feature from the rooftops to all the S5 owners whose charging covers have fallen off.

Yeah sonys marketing is ***! I was thinking of buying 5 or so, and then selling them to people who need them, but I can't vouch for the quality yet, and I don't want to sit with 5 pieces of junk...
