First impressions after an evening with the phone, bearing in mind my previous phone was an Xperia V:

Likes

Very fast performance
Quick startup/restart
Much better sound during phone calls
Doesn't heat up as much as the V, esp when playing with the camera

Dislikes

Icon size is too big, cannot fit as many as I did on the V
Unable to resize icons
Not as easy to access settings with the new drop down slider, and cannot choose to have quick settings only


Now to find a glove/case

As someone said previously, change your launcher. I always replace the stock device launcher with Nova on day 1.

Exactly, and they mention circuit protection... which is nice .
Every time I get a new phone I order a batch of accessories for it from them. My general rule of thumb is if they have 2 versions of the same thing and one is more expensive then get the more expensive one since the price is directly related to the quality. Delivery is $2 and they have by far the widest range of covers so just place yourself an order... it generally take 4 weeks to get here.

It might be that you are not in a TM LTE covered area....just double-check.

The good news is that TM HSPA+ speeds are quite good, I am getting 11Mbps at home.

True, but I would easily get speeds of 30-40mbps on LTE. I'll miss that
