Had a bit of a weird thing happen this morning. My power button would not turn the screen off. Waiting for the screen to time out and turn off, and then pressing the power button worked fine, but not to turn it off.. Eventually it went back to normal. I wonder if it had to do with the fact that I put the phone in the pool to take a photo. It was only for like 3 seconds though and I ensured all the flaps were properly sealed. Oh well I hope it doesn't happen again. Wont be taking any more underwater photos!

So how many of you fine folks have double tapped the screen on another phone / device to wake it up?

I got myself one a few weeks back. I like it. It's a really nice phone. Wish the camera was better for low light conditions. But overall. really cool phone

My LG G3 also does the double tap wake-up, and I end up double tapping everything else.

Hahaha quite a few times, tap tap tap, wtf doesn't it turn on.

Its a pity that i see you okes are having issues here and there. My phone after 4 months now still going strong without a single issue.

Alarm has a snooze button on lock screen, taken underwater photos, double tap to wake always works, its been dropped from 1m up which caused me to have a heart attack (luckly not a scratch), never had a screen issue with the buttons or anything.

Ah well :D still love it

I wonder how long before Lollipop will be available for our Z3 Compacts.

I used to have double on, then it started unlocking the phone in my pocket so had to switch it off.

Same here, pretty annoying. They could just integrate it with the proximity sensor. I love the double tap, but can't use it

Any comments about the quality of voice calls with this phone?

Call quality seems worse than my previous (Xperia T) phone.

Lots of breaks in the conversation.

I have the regular Z3 and think the call quality is the best of all the phones I had in 20 years.

+1

coming from an Xperia V, my first call was so clear I thought it was someone speaking to me IRL
