I agree. I'll rather wait for the official OTA. I'm not going to waste my time doing all that.

Just a heads up if anyone is interested but the magnetic charging craddle is on sale on Amazon UK site here

I'm not sure about delivery options or even if they will deliver to SA.

Awesome, got Lollipop up and running. As mentioned, flashed with no root or unlocked boot loader. Took a little while, but everything is running perfectly and smoothly. And now that I flashed the Nordic version, I don't have any Vodacom crapware, so I'm happy. Would recommend it to anyone, it's fairly simple

It runs really well. Smooth and fast. And it just looks better than before. I'm really enjoying the new software. Am I the only one brave enough to do it? Lol, come on guys, be impatient like me, it's worth it

I don't think there are any risks involved, your warranty will still be valid and you don't need to root. Win win

Haha I'll do it soon... Want to find out if I need to root before or after, cause I want to root. I've heard that the current root thing without unlocked bootloader won't work with the lollipop software?

You don't need to root. But if you want it, I'm not too sure about root and lollipop- google is your friend :)

EXTremely tempted to do this, cant wait any longer :D.
Jman, does doing the flash wipe all the data on your phone or is it an "Upgrade"

Get onto it, there's no reason not to.
No, you can choose not to wipe your data, just follow the step by step instructions, it'll tell you. My phone has all my apps and data

is the music loud when you play through the device speakers? and is the camera any better than my carl zeis 8mpx?
