When the SA edition of Lollipop appears would it be possible to flash that over the Nordic one?

0 difference or benefit flashing the south african one...

The lollipop feeling after almost bricking your phone so_good.png

it is nice, first impressions, notification screen take some getting used to.. but its not bad. Lock screen double tap to open notifications is cool. Smoooooooooothe. I like the updated power management screen.

My phone shows no service but I'm registered on the MTN network and everything is working. Anyone else have this problem?

Mine also does that sometimes. But still works fine. Right now, it says 8ta so it's working again

I really like the lock screen and its animations, and the double tap thing. And yeah, it's so smoooth!

1st Lollipoop annoyance. Silent mode and i see its quite common.

I want my phone to be completely silent and let the LED indicator let me know (AND let my alarm still ring in the morning). Now i cant do this, i have some stupid priority k@k i have to set up which still does not let me achieve this goal.

Apparently fixed in 5.1 (don't quote me though). Not so much of an annoyance for me. I only ever used vibrate while at work, otherwise sound is on

Well lollipop is very nice.
Not that Kit.Kat lagged at all, this just feels better with transitioning between screens & notifications & apps. Notifications on lock screen is a lekker upgrade, i love being able to expand whatsapp and see the messages without actually having to open it.
Notifications drop down bar looks awesome and feels awesome. All the little things like shading when you receive a message gives it a good feel.
The new dialer & contacts are cool.
Setting the times for alarms etc. has a nice new look to it, better than the standard spinning wheel we've had for years.

Irks:
1. No silent mode, still annoying me.
2. No double swipe at the top to get to settings

Help please - is there a possibility to move apps already installed on the handset's memory to a SD card?

Nope, not 2 fingers, used to be able to swipe down with a single finger (swipe down like 1cm) then swipe up again and it would bring down the settings menu.. all in one motion, difficult to explain... but its hardly a deal breaker, just one of those nice to have things.

Ah yes, I forgot about that, yeah I used to use that as well, it was pretty useful. But I'll trade that for the way the notification drawer looks now, so much better looking IMO

Am I missing something? If I press the volume down or up button I have a option for Silent Mode.
