Very good question, as I am definitely getting the charging dock!

Can't believe that Samsung never thought of something like that.

They did. I have one which is now useless since they went back to 2001 tech (USB 2.0)

For Sony devices I'd rather recommend the magnetic cable than the whole dock since the dock only fits one thing but the cable fits all.

Using this one right now. It fits the charging dock. Note that the charging dock itself comes with a bunch of socket changers that allow it to fit devices of different sizes.

That's what I have, only it fits ONLY the tablet, and only when you take the flipcover off. That idea about interchangeable adapters sounds nice, but unfortunately I don't have them.

MTN has it as coming soon, Vodacom does not have info, nothing from CellC & I've asked Telkom Mobile, but have not received a reply.

I suspect last week of November, maybe early December.

You could always order from Orange. Although then you'd be lucky to get it before the end of the year.

Once you get a new phone, it's two years before you can choose another one.

Two years might feel like a lifetime with a phone you didn't really want.

They're OK but you might wait AGES for your phone/accessories.

Some people report getting their stuff within a few days, but my order took almost 3 months. So it varies greatly.

Think one forumite suggested that you rather pay via credit card than EFT, then they process your transaction immediately....
