So i can already atest to the black screen issue. Happened to me a little while ago where the phone became completely unresponsive and had to hold the power button down. Only when the power menu came up did the screen come on and become responsive again.

In hindsight i don't know why i did this, generally always safer to wait for a second release.
:(

This is the thread you want to follow on XDA

Crap phone. Got rid of it within a week.

The camera quality was actually shocking.

And what did you replace it with?? Because there isn't any other phone this size that deserves to compete with it (z5c only).

I have no problems (yet?) on my Z3. Version 6.0 was already released in October 2015, version 6.0.1 in December 2015. It got some minor tweaks along the way. If you want to wait for a "safe" version you will probably wait forever.

Jeez... why so defensive? Fan boys much?

That's just my opinion. You're welcome to disagree, I wasn't forcing my opinion down anyone's throat.

Size? That is not the be all and end all criteria when choosing a phone.

I'd carry a larger or even smaller phone as long as it is up to my expectations and liking.

I wouldn't sacrifice on specs just for a few mm's because that would be just plain silly.

It's a compact, that is the selling point of the phone. Not everyone wants to walk around with a tablet in their pockets. What did you expect, like really?

When Sony develops a compact with decent specs PM me ok :p

Agreed, not everyone wants to walk around with a tablet in their pocket but I and I am sure alot of other people want to walk around with something decent in their pocket.

Like I said previously, the camera was most disappointing. I travel a lot and have a 3yr old kid so camera quality is important to me. My old Samsung S4 with a 13 mega pixel cam takes better pics than this with a, what is it, 20 mega pixel cam?

Before any further derailment gets some panties in a twist I'll leave you girls to it.

Ciao!
