I work for the DA and I can tell you that for the first time in our countris democratic history we have a realistic chance to put the ANC in its place. We will be getting much more votes in this election and only judging by the amount of people of all races joining the party over the last few months we will do good. The DA is the future of South Africa where we can live in an open opportunity society.
You hope. The vote is yours until the ANC starts "canvassing" the townships again.

Don't know if representing a political party on this forum is the best idea. Then again i hope you are somewhat right although we has seen the ANCs tried and trusted tactics work time and time again.

Love him or hate him, you gotta admit that Jacob Zuma is a natural born marketer with a firm grasp of salesmanship, communications and branding. It is clearly evident that he wittingly or unwittingly understands the basics of marketing alot better than any other politician in the country, with the exception perhaps of Helen Zille...

With money and backing he has, he could claim to be Jesus and people would believe him. He is doing nothing, his handlers and backers are doing the work, his speeches are all written for him. Everything is being done for him.

In other words, he's a black copy of your biggest hero in the world, G.W. Bush?

Agreed, Bush has none of those.

And dear Jacob even less. (Though less than Zero is hard to imagine in this instant.

Jacob and his cronies are 2 bit hoodlums who would be effecting a protection racket were they not in politics

Discuss anything relevant to the South African Elections in 2009 (within the rules off course).

Does anyone else think Tokyo Sexwale is playing a clever game by aligning himself with Zuma and not aggressively standing against him? If Zuma is convicted (for whatever), Tokyo will have earned a few brownie points in Zuma's book, and Bob's your uncle... Sexwale for President.

we are completely screwed no matter who wins.
