How would one vote for Tokyo without voting for the ANC? Is he running his own party? IIRC there aren't individual names on the ballot, only the parties?

Tokyo is very much part of the Zuma *package*, he comes bundled with the rest of them.

I was paging through a magazine the other day, which listed all the expected members of the Zuma cabinet, and many of them will be vast improvements over the current lot.

The sooner this whole Zuma-Mbeki power struggle is over, then sooner we can move on and leave this sorry handbags war behind us.

Hmmm, interesting, so you admit to having 'feelings' for Bush?

Sit down, tell us more, and don't spare any of the juicy details.

We all want to know alll about these 'feelings' you have for another man :D

Quite an interesting thread. Another thing I thought might be interesting would be to have a poll listing the major parties (ANC, DA, IFP, etc etc) and see how the elections would pan out if only our forum members were the deciding factor.

Anybody else interested in that little experiment?

I'm game. I'll RBP to get the mods attention and ask for a poll.

Like which ones?

Ivy, Alec Irwin and Manto had all been shown the door. I call that a good start. (Oh, and his ex as well, that should reduce the food bill at cabinet meeting by enough to build a few more power stations :D)

Oh, and the police director, the one who told the police to shoot the criminals, and she'd sort thing out later. Minister of Police, that I like.

There's no reason at all to be be ashamed about your feelings for him. It's a perfectly normal way to feel. (Although I hear he's bit iffy on the whole marriage issue, so maybe just check with him before you go spending any money on engagement rings).

Don't you just love Spring? Romance is in the air again, I love it!! :D

You hope. The vote is yours until the ANC starts "canvassing" the townships again.

I think that you will be so suprised. The ANC thinks that black people in this country are stupid and will not vote for any other party. They must go and look again and see that the bulk of people in townships is now realising that they can vote for another party without fear of going back to apartheid. This is the only thing that has kept the ANC going and it will not work in this elections

Vote for your party!!!!
DA
ANC
IFP
ID
FF

These are the biggest parties currently. Just give your choice by putting down ANC or DA ect.

The ANC are not often right, but they may be right about this.

Like the post, some interesting opinions.
I think the ANC will get a majority of the votes if the black youth aren't educated and told asap that NOT VOTING FOR THE ANC WILL NOT BRING BACK APARTHEID.

The ANC will organise some big events with freebies for the masses and great promises of jobs, houses and eradication of the white devil.

I will certainly vote as I am now old enough to do so. Not voting is just stupid and I think they should make it compulsory by law. How can you complain that things are not going according to your wishes if you are not doing your part? Listen to tannie Evita Bezuidenhout, she knows best

then it wont be a democracy and its against our constitution you know free will freedom to participate and so on , as for those who don't vote, fair enough you may not vote that's your right but then you also have no right to complain about it , you have a chance to change it instead of relying on others,
