Of the eight South African beaches ranked in the top 50, four are in Cape Town, with one along the Garden Route, another in Plettenburg Bay and one each in Port Elizabeth and Coffee Bay.

Lol, shade at KZN.

These are not swimming beaches. I would like to see the brave soul buddy up with penguins at Boulders.

You think going to the beach is about the water

The last thing I want to do at the beach is lie in the sun grilling myself slowly in the heat, aikona. a 3-6hr surf session would be good though.

Can't imagine anything worse that lying on the beach in the sun covered in suntan lotion.

These people that tan hours on end..instant cancer.

Me - well when I looked good in a costume that was. Now that I am old - I do avoid it
Pics please. I like to look at the ocean and that's how far it goes. Don't even like the beach for that matter. Rather sit on some comfy grass than getting sand in my underwear.

I have plenty of pics of the ocean - well oceans actually. And tons of beaches. Which ones interest you ?

I love the beach and the ocean. I love just sitting and watching the waves, looking for dolphins and whales and watching the ships. I like climbing the rocks and looking for crabs and little sea urchins etc in the pools. I am in heaven near the sea.

Sadly, if you get past the burning tyres on the N2 on your way to Knoetzie, the little darlings will break into your car in the carpark whilst you are getting sand in your undies. .

Mean while at:
  • Sandy Bay – Cape Town
  • Secrets beach – Port Elizabeth
  • Light House beach – Port Alfred
  • Umhlanga Lagoon – Durban
  • Mpenjati Beach - Kwazulu Natal

“Unpredictable erections” must be covered up.

OK come and visit. Chinsa beach is about 20km from me and all you need. Even a nice lagoon with warm water

**Edit just saw a ship on the ocean looking out my back door.
