South Africa’s ADSL ISPs ranked by customer service levels

Hey! Crystal Web

Nice

It's only when CW makes the top 3 of anything that the results are either manipulated or not publicised.

I would have checked the 17 people who left feedback for CW on HP, but their new website is literally unusable. Broken for me with Firefox.

Wait those scores are out of 10.

So they are all pretty much **** then?

Like barely made a pass mark.

The latest Hellopeter ratings reveal that Vox Telecom has the best customer service in the ISP arena, followed by MWEB and Afrihost.

As far as a presence on this forum is concerned, I think Afrihost wins hands-down.
Mainly based on how quickly they seem to get back with answers on their threads.

Don't use them as my (main) ISP, because I prefer being able to pay via internet transfer, which is something they don't accommodate.

While Hello Peter has its uses, I don't think I would look at them as a reliable measure of across the industry performance.
There are too many factors for why this data is unreliable.

Bit of a useless article in my view. It would have been nice if the article actually gave some insight on how hellopeter calculates these HPI scores so one can understand if there is any sensible underlying logic behind it.

I tend to agree. AfriHost's products are not cheap, but they are very reliable. Hasn't Vox's network gone down a couple of times recently for extended periods of time?

Cw's CEO was a regular poster in the official CW thread and various others, until rpm banned him.

Yep. It's like the graduates these days who describe data and call it a conclusion.
Staff Writer strikes again it seems.
