South Africa’s biggest companies: 2006 vs 2016

South Africa's corporate landscape has seen some significant changes over the past 10 years, with many former top companies dropping out of the Forbes global 2000 list - making way for some rising stars.

Inflation is the killer for companies not already expanded outside of SA or who's product is not sold at international rates while production is local (see Sasol).

And interesting article should be done on SA Inc gdp etc vs inflation & currency. It would be interesting to see if we grew or shrunk and whether the majority of the suspected shrinkage happen under shower head.
