Where are the unions in all this mess? So many job losses and unions all quiet.

Maybe they're been promised a seat above the salt when the radically transformed economy takes form out of the ashes of the current one. And no, I have no idea what they mean by radical economic transformation, no more'n the ANC and their various factions either. And each faction has their own imaginary definition.

They should have been able to donate that to the needy*. What a waste.

*At this stage every beer drinker is one

The real problem will be the pent-up demand when the restrictions are lifted! I regularly visit Newlands (CT), and the queues for spring water used to be long (before the lockdown). The Newlands Spring is across the road from SAB. Can you imagine how long the queues would be if there was a window to buy booze...

At this rate we should move the Rona count to page two, and have a national jobs countdown. Only 2,300,000 people still actively working... We can do it boys, we can get to Zero.

So instead of a "game changer" plan to come out of lockdown swinging economically.

They took it out the back, f**ked it, shot it, and then set the remains of our economy alight with heavily taxed petrol.

Closing of evil capitalist businesses is a sacrifice they are willing to make in the name of the glorious National Democratic Revolution.

Not to worry. The 8 (thus far) covidiots agreeing with guavamint's strategy will ensure they remain fed and clothed

They will even give them money for sigs and booze once available again
