264,000 views is hardly viral and the one below is under 2000 views:rolleyes:

So where's the allegedly viral video?
I think it's referring to the posting of many videos so the posting of SA crime videos are going viral?

The heading is on the IOL news site. Maybe ask there?

SA’s shocking crime wave goes viral

“An international tourist may see footage and decide that South Africa is far too dangerous to visit. Most people will know that every country has issues with violence and crime, and that these are often the worst and most sensational examples, but not everyone will consider that before passing judgment,” he said.
What an idiot!

So 1/4 of million people watch a video that is about crime in a country that has only 60 million people and you think thats not an indication of many waking up and realizing how far up sh !t creek we are?

No doubt about how far up the creek we are - won't be long before the boat gets stolen as well.

How interesting. The well known SA government supporters in here, do not think the viewer numbers are high. WTF Officially SA only has like 52 million inhabitants (around 65 million in reality). The vast majority have no idea what internet is - let alone YouTube. That means quite a number of this viewers are not South Africans! That is good or bad, depending on which side of the fence you are. But then again, who cares. Welcome to the new South Africa - once again.

Yup, welcome to the "new" South Africa. A lot like the old south africa but with less grenades thrown into bars and less landmines on the road.

Funny I don't remember crime ever being this high in the old SA.
Probably because it wasn't

Thats what happens when you deny access to education and economic opportunities to the majority of the population.

No it's what happens when you let a society run wild and have a corrupt police force and Gvt.
Too many rights and took much freedom for the population.

Tourists have a long history of going to dangerous places.

Yes, Erich Mielke.

You want me to pull the crime stats for you from those days?
It's a fact crime was never this bad.
The ANC is more concerned about lining their pockets than fighting crime.
Keep living in your bubble.
Perhaps take your head out the sand?
