N9 is an awesome phone by all reviews I've read. Why the hate? Coz it isn't a crapberry?

I smell a rat.

Best youth phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Then why was it discontinued(after only 4 months on the market), and I dont see any kids with it?

Not gonna even try to comment on the rest.

Best computer protection: Norton Internet Security 2012
Really?!?!?!?! are they nuts.. I wouldn't let Norton anywhere NEAR my PC.

Best tablet PC: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
This I can agree with, to a degree....

Best phone under R1,000: Nokia C3
Hmmm.. never played with one, but its like the C7 in any way.. then I can see this being deserved.

Best youth phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play
I wouldn't touch a Sony Android phone ever again... their update cycles are WAY too long, and just rubbish.

Best smartphone: Nokia N9
This I think is complete bollocks... Galaxy II? Google Nexus? etc etc..

In South Africa, Product of the Year says their results are based on a nationally representative consumer survey of 5,000 South Africans conducted in association with Nielsens.

Did they do this interview in Zim and miss-attribute?

Although I haven't personally used it I've read some really good reviews about it. Apparently they've made huge improvements on it in the last couple of years. I still prefer Nod32 for paid AV and Microsoft SE/AVG/Avast for free AV

Best tablet PC: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Agreed, although the Asus Transformer Pad is also awesome.

Best phone under R1,000: Nokia C3
Agreed

Best youth(Read gaming) phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play
Couldn't care, if you want to play games get a console or a pc.

Best smartphone: Nokia N9
I've personally used an N9, it's an awesome phone with an awesome OS. Such a pity Nokia won't be developing it further.

Best Computer Protection should have at least suggested a non-MS OS ;)

Right here actually... and STILL not planning to dump my Mac or iPhone or iPad 'cos of a little baiting and an article that most people seem to disagree with... Funny that.
